Stabbing On Hickory Street Leads To Arrest At Muffler Shop: Police | Joliet, IL Patch

JOLIET, IL — A 29-year-old Crest Hill man, Jinner Mendez-Macellar, is now behind bars at the Will County Jail after Joliet police say he plunged a knife into the chest of a 27-year-old man in the 700 block of Hickory Street over the weekend.

The stabbing happened Saturday morning. Joliet police say the victim was taken to St. Joe's hospital, where he is recovering in stable condition. As for Mendez, he's being charged with aggravated battery, domestic battery and endangering the life of a child. Normally Closed Solenoid Valve
